Today was a laze day. I tried not to expend much energy, simply because I didn’t have much in the first place.

Yesterday I ended up sleeping in until 2PM, and getting a total of 13ish hours of sleep. That being the case, last night I tried to go to bed just after 1AM, but just laid in bed awake until 6AM, even though I got up a few times to try and get sleepier.

I finally fell asleep at around 6AM, and got up at 11AM. I want desperately to sleep well tonight (since I’ve got to be up at 8ish tomorrow to get ready for work!) so I’m trying to just keep a lazy/sleepy mood/aura going all day.

Anyhoo, I spent the majority of my day assembling (and priming, though that’s not pictured) my Kroot Carnivores, and hope to paint ‘em sometime this week.

I also finally (although probably not finally) chose a colour scheme for my future Tau army, which will be shown off in some pictures down the line, after I A) Acquire the army. B) Assemble the army. C) Prime and base the army. D) Paint the army… wow that seems like too much work. >.>

Anyhoo, I’m loving the assembling, painting, basing, etc of my miniatures, and am looking forward to getting more than just Kroot to assemble/paint, as well as playing the actual game…

But boy, it is /expensive./

I thought Magic was bad (and maybe it’s worse, since I seem to spend at least $200 every time a new set comes out, which is every 3 months now…) but Warhammer seems ridiculous. To get the paints and models I want (just the Tau Battleforce, some paints, flock, and the core rule book) is going to cost me an arm and a leg.

But at least it gives me something to do. ;)
