Bizarre.
I find myself at my computer as much as ever lately, but I also find that not only do I never post any updates to my blog (usually caused by my incessant tweeting on Twitter) but I also never ever post any updates to Twitter, either, lately. I just don’t feel the compulsive urge to update every time I do anything anymore. It might come back, who knows.
But for now, yes, expect less blog/Twitter postage. :(
(That’s not to say I’m not active online–I still use ze internet like 24/7. or.. 12/7, as I sleep from time to time.)
P.S. It might be because I spend all of my time playing videogames as of late–Team Fortress 2, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath, etc. (Oh, and on that note, I pre-ordered Red Alert 3! W00t!)
Oh damn, I just realized I never even posted when I got ma’ new laptop, known as Weatherlight, or there’d be a Weatherlight category. I’ll have to make a full post about that sometime, but for now, it’s a gaming laptop by ASUS, a G50V-A1. It’s rock solid. (And apparently heart touching, according to ASUS’ slogan.)

“Economic times being what they are, Gawker must refocus its efforts on its most commercially successful blogs. Which means, yes, The Consumerist is for sale.”
Maybe if someone (Meg) who shall go unnamed (Meg) could write proper headlines, this would not have happened… Basic literacy class FTW.
“I never tweet or IRC or blog anymore. It seems I can have all of those, or gaming.”
If you never respond to comments on your blog, you might not have to worry about those soon, either. :P
Y’know, you think I’d respond to these comments more quickly, as I get notified of them on my phone, but I just never remember to come and look at ze blog again! >.> I need to find something that inspires me.. a blog muse! Hm…
(Also, the selling of The Consumerist is just tragic. …’less its bought by a better company than Gawker. Not that I can think of one.)
Are you saying I am not your blog muse? Feh!
Yes, that’s what I’m saying–you’re my COMMENT muse! Duh! ;P
Well at the very least, promise me you’ll post when some really hard shit hits the fan…
I dreamt last night that you had a new blog entry, and I was going to leave a comment. What a chitty blog. :P
I think the coroner has officially called it on the channel. When I do get the occasional urge to log in, there’s never anybody there — not even Beef. I should just uninstall mIRC at this point and reclaim 5.32 MB of disk space.
I also dreamt that my piano teacher said my ears are untrainable and there’s nothing more he can do w/ me. I was actually quite distraught in the dream, so I guess I really like playing the piano. I was also upset that I was paid up through two more lessons, and I didn’t know how to get that money back. :(
1) Very nice, yes, I know I never post updates… I even have things to post about now-a-days, too! I’ll get around to it eventually…
2) I enter the channel twice a day, both at pretty random times. I usually see either no one, or zeeble idling. Sometimes I’ll see Nori idling, and I’ll say something, but when I look back, it’s just me. No “Hi”, no nothing. =\
3) It would seem that playing the piano really does mean a lot to you. Keep persuing it and uploading MP3s, dude. You’re good from what I can hear. :D Also, on another note, I never *EVER* have those kind of crazy profound dreams that people always tell me about. The most I’ll get is a dream about eating … chicken. Or something.
Anyway, if you *do* decide to give up on IRC (Bad idea!) don’t forget to at least correspond with me via e-mail, or sign up for Twitter or something. ;P Losing touch with my IRC friends (especially you!) would be a horrible, horrible, damn, awful, asstastic shame. You guys are some of my oldest friends now. :0
