Team Fortress 2
I pre-ordered The Orange Box a little while ago, and just recently got a chance to sit down and really play Team Fortress 2, for more than twelve minutes.
It’s awesome, just like Team Fortress Classic x 6. I love it.
All the different classes, the art style, and the over-all comical feel of the game make this a must buy for anyone who loves semi-strategical FPSes.
Not quite as bad as running around in Goldeneye 007 shooting randomly trying to get kills, not quite as bad as Counter-Strike, where you walk around a corner and die six times.
It’s a nice mix of fun and skill, and I’m going to go play it some more.
Believe.
I’ll post the full story later, but suffice it to say, I have Halo 3.
Betrayed.
FutureShop canceled my Halo 3 pre-order two days before the release. (Read: Yesterday.) Now I can either wait until October 9th for it to get here, if I order it again, or I can go down to the city tomorrow to buy it, and miss school. Either way, this is bullplop. I pre-ordered it in June, just to have them cancel it two days before the release date. It’s not like they’re out of stock of the Legendary Edition. There are 454 left for sale on their website.
The biggest problem is I had ordered it for $50 off, through various coupons, deals, pre-order bonuses, etc. Now I have to pay the full price.
What the hell?
Late September Updates.
I pre-ordered The Orange Box.
Now I’ll have to enjoy the TF2 Beta.
In other news, I updated WordPress to 2.2.3. And in further non-Steam news, Halo 3 comes out in just a few days. Yay.
Not much to say.
I’ve not posted in the last six days, mostly because I have nothing to say, really.
I’m back at school, things are going well, I’m enjoying life, etc, etc. I started playing World of Warcraft again, and I’m in the Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer Xbox Live beta now. I love it.
Other than that, I really don’t have anything to say, other than I plan on getting back into practicing my guitar, and riding my bike soon.
