Summer = Awesome.
If you could buy summer in a box, on the side, in the nutritional content and ingredients it would simply list that it contained 100% of your daily requirement of awesome.
I went out to the beach today, and just sat there for nearly an hour. Drinking a Pepsi, and looking out at the ocean. It was magnificent, and this Thursday I’mm’a go swimming.
Ouch.
First of all, this is quite awkward, writing this post, so I’m going to attempt to keep things short. However, knowing me, it’ll be long-winded and seemingly unending.
A few days ago (uh.. I think it was… last.. Tuesday, maybe.) I fell off of my bike. Well, no, I went flying through the air, and slid for a while, as if I were attempting to steal second base, off of my bike.
It was not fun, it was not worth it, it was not intentional, and it sucked.
The worst part though, is that just five days before that, I had fallen off of my bike onto my right hand and left forearm, causing problems for myself aplenty. Once I healed up (five days later) I went back out, and hurt myself even worse.
But that’s just life, y’know? You get back up and try again, though, this time I’ll probably wait a while before attempting to ride my bike again, as I can barely type or do anything for my self right now.
Anyway, the damage done was mostly to my left wrist and my right elbow. I had a small scratch on my knee that healed the next morning. I ended up spraining my wrist, it seems, but it’s nearly back to normal now. I’m not too worried about it anymore, especially as I can finally lift certain things with my left hand, type, play Tony Hawk’s Project 8 on my 360 (haven’t been able to play Final Fantasy XII yet on the PS2, too painful) and use my fingers to apply pressure to something, like.. shut a door, or flush a toilet.
I’m more worried about my elbow. It’s not hurt, or anything more than a scrape to the skin, but in the way it healed, I was left with a scab covering it, and as such, I could hardly move it enough to bring food to my face the day I was hurt. Now, however, most movement has been restored, and part of the scab has even come off, allowing me to reach up and scratch my head, wash my hair, etc. It’s awesome.
Right now I figure I’ll be nearly fully healed by Wednesday or Thursday, at least cut-wise. Letting my right arm heal (it’s sore as hell and weak as hell from being over-used these past few days) and regaining full mobility in my left wrist and hand shouldn’t take long, I figure. And, if I can, I plan on going swimming on Thursday.
Anyway, that’s about all I’m going to type about my accident. I got hurt, it sucked ASS, but I’m doing pretty good now, I guess. Little things are still hard, here and there, but I’m much happier now. I look forward to getting back into Final Fantasy XII, as well as going back on the job hunt for the summer. Oh, and seeing as Ben is back from Vancouver, I hope I can hang out with him for a while, have some tea or something at the local tea place, The Daily Roast, or Starbuck’s. (Mmm, Vente Green Tea Latte = w00t. Though it costs like $6 bucks, which is insane.)
Anyway, now onto other stuff.
I pre-ordered Mass Effect last week, don’t know if I posted about that yet, but now I’m going to have to re-pre-order it, seeing as Future Shop is complaining about the credit card information used, so I’ll have to cancel it and order it in my mom’s name, rather than my dad’s. (She’s got a working cell phone again!)
I pre-ordered Assassin’s Creed for the 360 from Amazon.ca, and I’m avidly awaiting its arrival. Also, in other Amazon-y news, I finally got “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows†in the mail. I’m on chapter 9, and it’s hawtsome.
Oh, and I ordered an external HDD off of eBay, a Maxtor “One Touch III Mini†60 GB drive for both portable storage, and backing up website files, etc.
My dad is buying a new camera to replace the old one, an Olympus SP510-UZ
Finally, in buying news, I’mm’a buy 300 on DVD at Shopper’s Drug Mart on Tuesday using my Shopper’s Optimum points, because I’d like it, but I don’t want to pay for it.
Anyway, I really have to stop typing, because my left hand is going all… numb-like.
Sick of it.

Also, there’s lightning.
I had Jeff (not new Jeff, Jeff from Powell River, my oldest friend) over this weekend. Well, from Thursday afternoon ’til Sunday evening.
It was nice to see him again, and we played all manner of games and the like.
Watched some movies, a tonne of TV, made a cake, ate said cake, went for a bike ride, etc. It was nice to have him here.
But I’m glad he’s gone, because spending four straight days with someone makes you want them to explode. ;)
Anyway… I pre-ordered Mass Effect this weekend, too. Though FutureShop says it won’t be released ’til March 2008, they lie, as BioWare has announced a November 2007 release date.
Oh, when Jeff was here, we watched the entire “Angry Video Game Nerd” archives, as he had never seen the show/podcast before. It was awesome beyond belief.
Also, I got into Final Fantasy XII finally. I believe I bought it last November or December… and just never played it, as I couldn’t stand it for some reason. But now that I’m into it, it’s actually really fun. Now all I need is a VGA Box/composite-to-VGA adapter so I can hook my PS2 up to my monitor, and play it downstairs in my room, rather than in the living room on my parents’ TV. =\
I got a shirt from my teachers Rich and Larry today. It’s awesome. I’ll probably hook up my webcam and take a picture of it later, and post it here. ;)
Anyway, that’s all I have to post for now. I’m waiting for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” to come out, as I just saw “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” in the local theatre the other day with Jeff and my parents, and I’m totally in a “Potter” mood.

Lazy Podcast 07 – “Video”
Since it’s hosted by revver, there’s a short ad before viewing the video. But, you can just mute it, or something, and wait for the podcast to start! :D
Also, every time you view one of the ads, I get like… .. point five of a cent, so.. w00t for me. ;)
–update–
The video isn’t working right now. Don’t know why. I’mm’a leave it, and see if Revver fixes it. If not, I’ll either re-upload it, or try YouTube or something instead.
