Biiicycle, Biiicycle, Biiicycle …
I haven’t updated in a while. I’ve got a weird ringing in my ear from sitting beside my computer too much. Sick, eh? =\
I’ve reached level 40 in World of Warcraft though. It’s hawtsome.
Uh.. oh, I took pictures yesterday at the Grad 2007 ceremony for the alternative schools. I’m dropping off the photos at my school tomorrow, so.. w00t?
and.. I really just have nothing to say. =\
My life is going pretty darn well, I’m happy, it’s summer, I’mm’a go relax. Oh, and I’m still trying to find a job. ’til then, I’ve been doing odd jobs, like the photography, for which I’m being paid $150.
oh, and I got a bicycle on Father’s day, if I didn’t mention that. Not because I’m a father, or anything, just because my mom wanted to get me and my dad “Father and Son” bicycles. o.O
It’s hawtsome, now that I’ve worked out the kinks.
The Lazy Podcast 05: Strummy Strum
Begin Communiqué:
Alrighty, it’s time for The Lazy Podcast 05: “Strummy Strum.” Silly name? Sure. Silly content? You knows it. Lemon-fresh scent? Oh yeah!
Though.. I can’t guarantee the last one, as I don’t know what your speakers or headphones smell like…
Anyway, ‘ere it is:
End Communiqué.
Do you feel the same? ‘Cause you don’t let it show…
With school over, I’m lookin’ for a summer job. Don’t quite know where I want to work yet, but I do have a list of places that don’t seem all that bad, and which I might actually enjoy working at. Said list follows (Note: This is not the order in which I’m applying, or wish to work. Just whichever one pops into my head first as I try to remember all of the places I’m interested in):
- Seaside Video – A place in the local mall that–surprise, surprise –rents out DVDs.
- FotoWorks – a Photography place in the mall.
- Talewind Books – A book store that I just like.
- The TELUS Store – Just the local TELUS Mobility phone supplier/repairer. I like phones, it’s in a very convenient location, and TELUS isn’t really all that bad of a network.
Honestly, that’s all I can think of right now. I mean, there are many other places I’m applying to work at, those are just my top four, apparently. Or at least the ones I’ve thought of thus far. I’m also checking out the local Classified ads soon, as well as the SCCES website soon, so.. my list might change by the time I apply at places on Monday.
Insatiable an Appetite…
Alrighty, so, my appetite for new stuff (namely technological stuff) is unending. Today my Wacom Graphire4 4×5 tablet came, and it’s hawtsome. After messing around with it for two hours and twenty minutes, I ended up with this.
Yes, it’s a goomba hitting on a female goomba, in Super Mario Bros. World 1-1.
Other than that, my DLO PodFolio leather iPod case came, and I’ve only fourish days of school left.
Tuesday = Finish my Socials essay.
Wednesday = Hang out in the last Human Growth and Development class.
Thursday = BARBEQUE, WOO-HOO!
And Friday, I might not go, as it is pointless if I’ve finished all of my work by then.
Anyway, I’m done posting now. It’s cold, and I’mm’a go check on my laundry. (Dryer fresh pants are awesome…)
Jeebus!
I haven’t posted in AGES, so… here’s a quick update:
- First of all, I’m just about finished school for the year. I’ve got one last assignment, an essay on the Coast Salish for Social Studies. After I finish that, I’m technically not required to come to school for the rest of the year (next week) until after the summer, but I will on certain days for P.E., etc. Maybe I’ll do some Planning 10 stuff for the week, eh?
- I’m enjoying World of Warcraft. Me, Ben, Quin, and Jeff are all still playing it, though we took a short break a little while ago for some Battlefield 2, Civilization IV, Age of Empires II/III, etc. I plan on playing me some Company of Heroes sometime soon, but mostly, just WoW… though I’m not really in the mood for it today.
- I’m finished with guitar lessons for the year, ’til after summer… though I’ll probably have a few on and off throughout the summer just to stay sharp, and have any questions I have answered by my teacher.
- Alternative Voices was awesome. I partook in the Shadow Puppetry, and it was just really really fun. I won a $20 London Drugs gift card.
- I turned that $20 gift card, $20 I had, and a couple of allowances into around $180 in FutureShop gift cards. How? I don’t quite know. I just don’t get any more allowances for June, etc. Anyway, the stuff is still in the mail, but I ordered a DLO Podfolio Leather Flip iPod case, and a Wacom Graphire4 4×5 tablet. Fun fun.
- Tomorrow is the Sports Day our school is helping run for the elementary school next door… though it may be canceled, due to all of the rain as of late. If it isn’t, me, Quin, and Jeffers [sic] will be running the Capture the Flag station. Ty(ler) is working on something else–I never asked him, actually… –and Ben is helping run the Tug-o’-War station. Rich is apparently running a Beach Volleyball station (maybe just volleyball?) and will also be singing “Party, Party, Let’s Party!” all day.
- We are the Champions.
- Me, Ben, Quin, Jeff, and Jeff’s friend Calvin will be staying at Quin’s this weekend, to watch movies and the like. First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III are on the list of to-watch, as is the entire series of Firefly and Serenity, if we have time, and if Ben stops complaining. Can’t guarantee either, I’m afraid.
Anyway, that’s about it for the updating.
Oh, and I’ll probably do a podcast again some time soon. Dunno when, though.
