MMVII
So, it’s nearly 2007, and I have just one thing to say:
It will be an awesome year in gaming.
Seriously, check this out:
- Assassin’s Creed
- Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
- Enemy Territory: Quake-Wars
- Half-Life: Episode 2
- Halo Wars
- Halo 3
- Mass Effect
- Portal
- Team Fortress 2
- Unreal Tournament 2007
(note: List is in alphabetical order, not the order in which I am most excited about. ;))
I mean dude, that’s just awesome.
Anyway, I have to get a job. No seriously. Games = ’spensive, money = hard to come by when you just fix computers for people off and on all year. I don’t know where I’ll work yet; perhaps a video store, or a computer repair place. All I know is I’ll be working on my resume as of January 9th–when I get back to school– and I plan on having a job by April 5th –my birthday (and also First Contact in the Star Trek universe).
Eh.. where was I…
Oh, yes. 2007.
Anyway, 2007 = New Hotness. 2006 = Old and Busted. (Not that 2006 wasn’t awesometastic, mind you. It’s easily the best year I’ve had in a long while. :D)
P.S. I started watching Ah! Megami-sama again.
P.P.S. I’ve also updated the Movies page once again to reflect my most recent purchases: There’s Something About Mary, Syriana, X-Men, and X-2: X-Men United.
PvP Xfire Chat
Well, it seems that when it comes to these Xfire chat contests, I’m lucky.
I won Forces of Corruption earlier this year, and now I won a poster of the cast of PvP signed by Scott Kurtz.
Yep, I was one of the winners in the PvP Xfire Chat, so.. hurrah for me.
I just really can’t help but wish I had signed up for that ATI chat earlier this year…
Your Little Hoodrat Friend
Alright, I’m not usually into modern music, ’specially not the kind that constantly calls someone a hoodrat–whatever that means…–but this song is AWESOME.
It’s by Hold Steady. Look it up on iTunes, or something, will ya?
Anyway, I’ve updated the Movies page to reflect the two new movies I got for $12.88 CDN (in total, not each); Spiderman and Spiderman 2.
Then there were chainsaws…
Okay, so a few posts ago I said that Gears of War was awesometastic. Now, as far as I can tell, I’m not even finished the first gorram act, but to be fair, I’m mostly playing demos, XBLA games (w00t for Uno!) and CoD3. It’s not that Gears of War isn’t mo’ like Gears of AWESOME, it’s just I want to make it last as long as possible. ;-)
Anyway, I finally used the chainsaw, and it’s … hawtsome. Like seriously, I just ripped the guy in half. He was gone after that.
Anyway, I’m nearly finished Call of Duty 3. And by nearly finished, I mean I’ve reached mission number.. 9 of 14, and I hope you appreciate me looking up how many missions there are on Wikipedia, because now I just found out that Dix dies in the last one. Thanks a lot, lack of spoiler tags. -_-
It’s not as if I was playing Call of Duty 3 for it’s character design and rich plot. It’s nowhere near as good as the previous ones when it comes to plot/characters. The only ones I really like are the Brits and the Frenchies, and that’s only ’cause they don’t get along at all.
Page updates.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve not only finally gotten around to updating my books page, but I also added a list of all of my CDs, DVDs, and games!
Check ‘em out!
