Mid-May Update
I seem to have worked out all the hardware kinks from Mjolnir. Everything is working just as it should, except my USB keyboard and mouse aren’t turned on at boot. Instead, half-way through Windows or Linux booting, they spring into action. There’s a setting in the BIOS that enables USB keyboard and mouse support, but it seems to have had no effect. So, I keep an o’l PS2 keyboard sitting beside my tower now. No problem.
My PSP works as expected, but is kind of awkward for MP3 playback, so I’m thinking about getting the Griffin SmartShare PSP, and a set of PSP headphones. Yeah, it’s crazy, but I’ll do it. I’ll use my normal headphones to listen to the music, and turn down the volume on the other headphones, and use their remote.. heh. It’ll also work well when me and Ben both want to listen to something on the Memory Stick Pro Duo. (Long name…)
Right now I’ve got a few episodes of The West Wing, a game trailer or two, and some music on the 2 GB stick I got for it. I’m impressed. ;)
P.S. Since I like norse mythological naming conventions, my PSP is “Belldandy.” And, since my mom does not like norse mythology, her laptop is “Sakura.” She’s got a thing for cherry blossoms, as do I. :D
