Preperations

I’ve not made a lot of posts lately, because I’ve been spending every free waking moment looking up various parts and the like for Mjolnir, and preparing to build the PC.

I’ve finally chosen my final parts list, and even submitted it to NCIX for approval (there’s a guy there making sure everything is in stock, and giving me exact price quotes. If the parts I want aren’t quite available yet, he’s pre-ordering them so when I place my order during the first week of May, they’ll be ready) and have stopped bargain hunting. When not doing this for the last week, I’ve been at school.

It’s nearing the end of the school year, and since Mjolnir will be here throughout the vacation, I’m making preperations for excercise during the summer, such as walking three or four times a week, finding a good route, et al. This way I won’t sit in front of the beautiful 20.1 inch wide Viewsonic LCD gaming for hours on end, while gaining a helluva lot of weight. :o

Anyway, I’ll be going down to Vancouver on the 8th (Monday… the next one, not this one) and I’ll be stopping by an IKEA to buy a computer desk and chair, some shelves for behind my compy (also to hold up my rear speakers) and possibly some sort of bed-side table, because I don’t have one. I’m also buying a new alarm clock, a few games, and some clothing. My mom will be stopping by a college, or .. some sort of school, to sign up for some courses she’s interested in taking. After all of this, we’ll stop by NCIX/Netlink Computer and pick up Mjolnir. Then we’ll head home, and I’ll build it. :)

Well, I’ve got to get back to thinking about non-computing stuff, by watching a movie, or something. Maybe I’ll go for a walk. ;)
