I can’t shake it!

Well, lately I’ve been listening to a lot of The Traveling Wilburys, playing a tonne of Age of Mythology: The Titans Expansion, and waiting for my Xbox.

I’m going to get it now in between a week, and the end of April — I might just get the system and KOTOR first, then get a second controller, Halo, Halo 2, et al, later in the month, and those thereafter — but no matter what, I’m getting it.

I’ve been reading up on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic a lot, and I’ve got to say, I’m very intrigued, and since KOTOR II can’t possibly be related exactly to the first storyline — since it’s different each time you play it — I’m thinking of picking up The Sith Lords as well.

I went to visit Sean in Powell River on the 22nd until the 26th, and I had a lot of fun playing Halo 2 and the like with him, Mike, and a new person I met named Calivin. I also got to see his dad, and get an actual Slurpee from 7-11. All in all, it was great. After that, from the 26th to the 29th, Sean visited me, my parents, and Ben for a while. Me, Ben, and him all played Halo 2, and AoM. We stayed up all night, had pizza, drank root-beer, and had a small LAN party, if you could call it that with three computers. I’ve got to say, it’s been one of the greatest Spring Breaks /ever./

Tomorrow I’ll have $90 CDN saved up towards my Xbox, and by the 8th of April — incidentally, when Ben is buying Unreal Tournament 2004… finally — I’ll have $100. That plus whatever I save up ’til the end of April — probably $130 – $150 — and what I get for my birthday — $100 – $150 = Xbox! Score, eh?

My mom finally called TigerDirect.ca today, but there was no answer after being on hold for about half an hour. She was really tired, so I decided to let her call on Saturday, due to Telus giving us ‘Free Evenings and Weekends’, heh. She said she’d call sometime in the afternoon at “peak” awake…ness…. or something.

After getting the ‘box, if I keep this blog going — no one ever reads it but me, and occasionally Ben or Sthitaprajna — I’ll add an ‘Xbox’ section. And if none of you have yet noticed, the ‘Changelog/Todo List’ page has not been updated, and I’ve done none of those things, as they are not important. I can get around the server easy enough. :P
