Uyo, Buffy, Gentoo, et al.

I bought some M:TG cards — well, I got them for getting an A+ on a boring book report at school — from The Lion’s Den. One Champions of Kamigawa booster, one Betrayers of Kamigawa, and one Fifth Dawn. My favourite card I got was Uyo, Silent Prophet. I have a plan right now, too:

After seeing the sixth season episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer titled “Once More, With Feeling” — which happens to be a musical — I was happy as hell. I’ve seen in 9 times since then, making a total of 10. So, I’m going to be buying Buffy Season 2 on the 12th of Feburary, getting the 3rd for Valentine’s Day from my mom — Yeah, she buys me a present on Valentine’s Day, wanna fight about it?

After a horridly failed install of Gentoo a while back, I tried again. I installed from within Debian, and everything was swell… that is, until I tried using GNOME. GNOME seems to be broken for me in Gentoo. It crashes whenever I try to compile source through Portage‘s emerge command when it’s running, no matter what terminal emulator I run it through. It also crashes if I try to use the mini command-line applet for the GNOME panel. wmaker, e16, fluxbox, et al work fine. Anything else? Horrid.

I use Mirrodin cards. I believe Mirrodin with it’s indestructible card effect’s,
like Darksteel Brute’s, Darksteel Colossus, and DARKSTEEL FORGE, the ultimate POWER (Artifacts you control are indestructible. (“Destroyâ€? effects and lethal damage don’t destroy them.)). And the biggest cat type card release EVER. Oh and don’t get me started on sunburst card’s they can be a bit slow but if you can get Suncrusher into play then nothing can stop you!
