Buffy S3

In the great words of Kevin Pereria: “It came from eBay!”

Buffy Season 3 came in the mail a few days ago, and I’ve been watching up a storm! Although about half-way through every episode I start playing Counter-Strike or DoD…, whilst the show is paused, of course. Then back to the.. uh, watching! YES, THE WATCHING!

If you’re wondering why Ben’s posts are soooo lame… uh, ask someone else, I don’t know!

Yaa!

Lo and behold I’m catching up! Catching up to Nathan’s insane amount of money for doing absolutly nothing, then getting games/cards and expecting me to do likewise thing. I finally have magic cards, but no Unreal Tournament. Then he goes and introduces the whole Counter-Strike/Half Life 2 thing. Gah! In other words, send me money! Also, I REALLY HATE HEADCRABS! Except when I just lit them on fire, then they’re hilarious!

Counter-Strike

I recently tried Counter-Strike — well, yesterday for the first time, actually. I’ve been getting better and better each time I play.. Sure, it’s different than UT2K4 — quite different — but it still rocks.

G4 vs. G4TechTV

Recently G4 merged with TechTV, thus forming G4TechTV, and G4TechTV Canada, respectively.

While I didn’t like the merger myself — or what they claimed was a merger –, at least they didn’t get rid of my favourite shows like The ScreenSavers, or Call for Help. (Although they did ruin them.)

G4 recently switched their name back to “G4: Video Game Television” in the U.S., But in Canada, they remain G4TechTV Canada. There’s still a G4TechTV.ca, whereas no G4TV.ca

The channel itself still advertises itself as G4TechTV Canada, but when watching U.S. Shows — i.e., everything other than Call for Help — the ‘new’ G4 logo is in the upper-right corner. At the end of the show, the old G4TechTV Canada ‘outro’ is played. The hell?

I certianly hope that they keep G4TechTV Canada, because at least they kept ‘TechTV’ in the name for a while.

The moral of the story? G4 bought TechTV, they didn’t merge at all.
