Journal, Nov. 27th
I got up at 6:30 AM today, but I don’t know why. Shortly after I got up, I started watching episodes of Cowboy Bebop on my PS2. (I bought Volume One on DVD a while back.. way, back, actually.) I came upstairs around 7:30, just to tell my mom I was up — She said if I didn’t get up by 8:30, she was going to have breakfast without me! O_O! — and then went back downstairs, to play Soul Calibur. I did that until 8:00, at which point I just was so bored, it hurt, and decided to clean up a bit. I moved my Dreamcast and some other stuff around, and was pretty pleased with myself. At 8:40, I came upstairs, got ready, and watched a biography of Kevin Spacey, and another of Pierce Brosnan, on “People in the News”, on CNN. After that, me and my mom left the house (around 9ish) to go catch the bus, at 9:20. Of course as usual, it was late… immensely so. We got out there at 9:15, and thought we had like 5 minutes to wait, but it didn’t show up until 9:45. = And when we got on it, instead of it being nice and warm — the opposite of how it was outside, FYI — it was /freezing/ cold. Literally freezing. I could see my breath on the air, more than I could when I was outside. O_O! We took the bus to the Trail Bay Centre, stopped there to look around, and then walked up to McDonald’s, for breakfast. About 10:20, we decided to leave, and got the keys to the car, from my dad. When we went out to the car, the drivers’ side was absolutely covered with bird crap. We shrugged that off, and headed off to Gibsons.
After driving for like.. 30 minutes, we finally hit Gibsons. We headed to Liquidation World, in search of a table or desk that I could use for Freya, but were unlucky, and found nothing. Then we headed over to London Drugs, and looked in the Computers/Electronics section for over an hour. They were insanely over priced, but I wasn’t really concidering buying anything.. just comparing to TigerDirect, and FutureShop. After we were done in the store (about an hour and a half, in total..) we went out to our car, and decided to drive down to a pawn shop my mom had seen a few days earlier, seeing as there were no tables or desks, or anything, at London Drugs.
We arrived at the pawn shop/trading post within about 20 minutes, and looked around. There were literal tonnes of interesting things, that I yearned to have.. like a replica of a samurai’s sword, a few other sabres, a broad sword, a bunch of ships in bottles, old Canadian money, a vast collection of antiques, et al. Who knew all of that was in Molly’s Reach? We eventually found a small — and cheap — metal desk, that was way too small for me to use practically (i.e., fit my legs into, and sit at..) but I didn’t want it for that. We bought it — $25.00 CDN — and I dragged it down the road to our car… for about a block. Then, we heaved it into the back seat — after telling my mom it wouldn’t fit in the trunk, watching her struggle to fit it in the trunk, failing, trying it in the side, at an awkward angle, even after I told her /that/ wouldn’t fit, etc. — and got back in the car. Some people were looking at me oddly — you don’t usually see a huge guy roll a desk down the road (it has wheels) and then heave it into a car, when it’s obviously too small for him, I guess — but I ignored them. We then drove to the McDonald’s in Gibsons, for lunch.
After lunch, we left Gibsons, and drove down to Wilson Creek. We stopped at the Canadian Tire there to get some flea spray for the animals — Tango, our dog, and Sativa, my cat — and then continued our drive back to Sechelt. Once back in Sechelt, we stopped at the Movie Gallery, and rented ‘Garfield the Movie’, and ‘The Human Stain.’ Then we headed over to The Salvation Army, to see what they had, after me and my mom argued about it, and I pointed out I strongly didn’t wish to go. = After getting there, we noticed it was hellishly empty.. seriously, so empty, but looked around anyways. After about 20 minutes, my mom bought a vest, and we left. After driving home, we brought stuff inside (all but the desk..) and watched movies, slept, etc. When we eventually realised we would have to bring the desk inside, before we went to pick up my dad from work. So, we heaved it up the front stairs, into the house, and left it in the hallway. A few minutes later, my dad called to be picked up. We went and got him, stopped by the bank to make a deposit for McDonald’s on the way home, and eventually got home. He went into his room to get changed, relax, etc, whilst my mom ordered me a pizza for dinner, and I sat around. After my dad came back out, he worked on a puzzle we’ve been doing for the last little while for a bit, and my mom told me she had ordered the pizza. We tried a few times to get a fire going in the fireplace, but failed horribly. After that, my mom picked up my pizza, and I ate it — so.. much.. food.. — whilst watching GalaxyQuest on WTBS Atlanta. Later my parents had spaghetti, after my dad had played some ‘Command & Conquer Red Alert: Retalliation’ on my PlayStation, and my mom had given up on the fire.
After dinner, they watched TV for.. well, quite some time..which was when I went back downstairs to clean up s’more, in preperation for my desk. I cleaned for about.. 20 minutes, moving my PS2, some garbage — into a garbage bag, which is now half-full, in the hall downstairs — and some dishes — also in the hall –, and cleared a space. When I went back upstairs, my parents were watching ‘Men in Black II’ on TV, and helped me bring the desk down the stairs. Once it was down there, they ran back up to finish their movie. I easily wheeled the desk into my room, put it in it’s proper place, and was quite pleased with myself.. that is, until I decided to move my mattress into the corner, so I could have more leg room, and actually /fit/ a chair by the desk. I moved everything, cleaned up more garbage, and eventually got my room in a great way, and loved it. I then came upstairs — after sitting downstairs, watching TV for about half an hour — and started writing this journal entry, lol.
Sorry it was so long, I just felt like talking.

There is nothing funny about Halloween. This sarcastic festival reflects, rather, an infernal demand for revenge by children on the adult world. by texas holdem
